Pycharm 2020.3 code analysis/auto-complete slow/not working (not boto3)

I'm using Pycharm community 2020.3. Ever since I upgraded a few days ago, code analysis and auto-complete has basically not been working. I can walk away from my computer for an hour, and it won't detect that some issue has been resolved. Sometimes I can kind of finagle it to rerun analysis and it'll update, but it's clear that the whole file is never quite up to date (e.g. syntax highlighting consistently isn't working correctly, for instance, some methods are yellow, some aren't)

Project is quite simple. Several files, but 2-3k lines of code. These are the only packages I am using (note, no boto3):
$ pip freeze
colored==1.4.2
eprint==0.0.4

I've cleared the cache and restarted, and I have 4GB allocated to the IDE (I'm using it on an Ubuntu VM, to which I've allocated 32GB and 6 cores).

I actively use other jetbrains products as well, and I updated all of them to 2020.3, but this is the only one I've noticed an issue like this with.

Hi,

This is a known issue https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-45776

We will release 2020.3.1 with the fix this week, meanwhile you can roll back to 2020.2.5 for the time being.

I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience.
