You can reset local settings to default (File > Manage IDE Settings > Restore Default Settings...) and then push the default settings to the remote repository to reset remote to default...
A history/way to revert changes is not currently available; related ticket: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-171937
