intellij cant open some directory on macbook m1
I using macbook pro m1 and intellij version is 2020.3.1
my project content a lots of file and some folder cant open , and keep in loading status

First of all, please update IntelliJ IDEA to 2020.3.2 where number of M1-related bugs were fixed.
If the issue is still here, create new case on https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/newIssue?project=IDEA with logs folder attached (https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/207241085)
i am trying to update intellij version 2020.3.2 but i see the error log , it seem dont support apple silicon M1 chip
update was fail
There is a bug with update from 2020.3.1 to 2020.3.2.
Please just uninstall the old version and install the new one from https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/#section=mac
The new M1 version (2023) does not load src folders. This still has not been addressed
Hi Stephen Davies Your case might be different. Please try to temporarily disable all third-party plugins and update the IDE to the latest version from https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download
If the problem remains, file a new issue at https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/requests/new , and provide the IDE logs (Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data) after restarting the IDE and reproducing the problem.
