PhpStorm won't save the credentials for my Repository settings

I've set up a repository to sync my settings. But every time I close the app, it will ask for my credentials. I´ve tried with an app password and with my regular credentials.

Could you please check "Preferences | Appearance & Behavior | System Settings | Passwords" and see whether you have "In native keychain" enabled? If not - please enable it and see whether it helps.

Maybe it's worth mention that I've always had this problem, among different computers and versions of PhpStorm, so most likely is something I'm not setting up correctly but I have no idea what.

1. Do you use Macbook on M1 by any chance?
2. Do other passwords persist in IDE?
1. I don't. :( All my previous Mac were regular Intel.
2. Well, I used to save server credentials in a "deployment" tab. I don't use that anymore but that always worked fine.

Have you had a chance to check "Preferences | Appearance & Behavior | System Settings | Passwords"? Is it set to save passwords?
For me, it never worked. I stopped using it.
I have this issue. I keep adding the password to the In native keychain, but after a an idle hour or so, I need to reenter my password. This is a bit frustrating with so many ftp connects. I am using an M1 macbook

Could you please clarify whether you have updated your IDE recently or updated Mac OS?
There is a chance that IDE cannot get an access to Keychain so re-install can be required.
But it's hard to advise further without any logs.
