PhpStorm freezes when typing

Thank you! Unfortunately, there's no consistency between different freezes, I see two caused by the same issue (also, it's the same you posted the first thread dump for), and apparently it's caused by rendering editor text during soft-wrapping.

Do you always work in a file that has soft-wrapping applied when you experience such freezing? Also, do you have any non-Latin characters in the file?

Soft-wrap всегда отключен. В файле присутствуют нелатинские символы.

Since then, we've released a new major release that includes a newer JDK version, and a couple of minor updates for it.
Can you still reproduce the issue on 2021.1.2?
If you can, please submit a bug report on our tracker attaching a new set of logs, probably, the problem has to be checked on the platform (IDEA) side.
