Ubuntu 20.04 PHPStorm launches very slow after reboot

Hi I have a new notebook with Ubuntu 20.04 (ASUS Vivobook (AMD 8-Thread Ryzen7 3700U, 4 GHz, 20GB DDR4, 1000 GB SSD M2, 8GB 10-Core Radeon RX 10 Graphics).
When I open PhpStorm on it, it starts very very slow (ca. 3-4 minutes).
If the startup is finished everything works fine. This only happens on the first launch of PhpStorm after reboot of my notebook.
Once PhpStorm is launched and I close it and dont reboot my notebook, and than open it again, it launches quickly.

My current version is: 2021.1.1 Build #PS-211.7036.8, built on April 15, 2021

On my old notebook with Ubuntu 18.04 everything worked fine...

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi there,

In general: start with checking the idea.log (Help | Show Log in...) for possible hints: the log has timestamp so you should be able to visually see what step/event takes the time.

Poor performance can be caused by many reasons. Every case has to be investigated separately as it most likely will be unique / different for every user. Please use "Submit a request" link at the top of this page (or use "Main Menu | Help | Contact Support..." from inside the IDE) and privately provide all needed info there:
