Cannot close class files tabs between other class files tabs

In latest IDE release facing this bug that if multiple class files are open in tabs, than class files between others tabs cannot be closed, cursor doesn't work there, I have opened 5 class in tabs and I am not able to close tab of class file opened at position 3rd & 4th. Attaching image for detail.

How are you closing the tabs? By clicking on the x button? Are you able to close them with a middle-click?
Does it help if you temporarily disable all downloaded plugins under File | Settings | Plugins > Installed and restart the IDE using the File | Invalidate Caches & Restart menu option?

Thanks for your suggestion, yes I was enable to click x button & I haven't tried through middle-click, but the issue got resolved automatically when I opened my IntelliJ IDEA today again.

I had the same issue. Restarting is a working workaround. But not a solution.

If issue is reproducible for you after disable all 3rd party plugins and Repair IDE, then please create YouTrack ticket.
See Create and Edit Issues if you're not familiar with YouTrack.
I think it will be extremely hard to reproduce and I don't have the time to help fix a random code editor.
However, I will keep this in the back of my head in case it arises again before I delete IDEA at the end of the semester.
