Re-Add Project to Recent Projects

In case anybody else needs this:
I removed a project from Recent Projects when I should not. I could find anything online telling me how to fix it.
I finally deleted the /.idea directory under the project and opened it again. Poof, it's back on my Recent Projects list.

Recent projects list is updated automatically once you open any project. You don't need to delete .idea directory.
I tried just opening the missing project. It didn’t add to the recent projects list. Perhaps there was something else wrong with the project.
