Customizing multi-repository based project colored stripe in VC commits pane

Is there a way to choose the color that is used for the stripe in the commit pane of the VC window for each repo?

The use case of this is, that I am having mutiple projects, based on this 2 repos pattern (frontend, backend) and I would like some consistency for this color when switching project, to decrease mental load (i.e red stripe would always be for backend repo for example)
