Pycharm: Select Path dialog not opening in Difference Viewer while comparing two folders

While comparing two folders in Difference Viewer (window accessible by: right click on a project folder > Deployment > Sync with Deployed to...) the left and right (local and remote) paths both have a folder icon that is supposed to open a Select Path window in order to change paths, as per the "Compare two folders" section in the official documentation: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/comparing-deployed-files-and-folders-with-their-local-versions.html#e1cf7c67

In my case the button I described doesn't open anything at all. I believe this is not the intended behaivour.

OS is Windows 10 1909
