sub-sub menu doesn't open if we don't use Intellij for longtime

I am using IntelliJ IDEA 2023.3.8 (Community Edition) and i have noticed that from last 2-3 years if i leave my laptop for 10-15 mins (laptop is open but screen is closed) and after that if i try to open new file that open doesn't show (sub-sub menu).

This sounds like a UI refresh issue after your laptop wakes from sleep. Try updating IntelliJ to the latest version and check if it still happens. Also, what OS are you using (Windows, macOS, or Linux)? That will help narrow it down.
