Lost file type assosiation for PHP Smarty's tpl-files

Updated to latest IntelliJ and now the .tpl files have lost syntax hilighting, now parsed just as plaintext, and there is no Smarty option in File Types list, which used to have it (over a decade ago https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/207068955-Display-tpl-files-as-simple-html-php-files?page=1#community_comment_207463739).
Can't find no plugins or anything that would control this either. How to get syntaxing back?

Hi,
This is a known issue with the missing Smarty plugin (which cannot be installed manually) in IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2.* + PHP Plugin:

Unfortunately, there is no workaround for this issue yet.
