Two remote repositories but PyCharm only let me push to first in the list

Answered

I am a bit new to PyCharm—sort of, because I’ve still managed to finish a small Blender addon.

I was wondering if it’s possible to push to two separate repositories directly from PyCharm, e.g. to projects.blender.org and my own space on GitHub.

Currently, these two repositories are set up via Manage Remotes…. When I open Push, PyCharm only displays the first remote in the list of repositories I added earlier. I thought the connection to the other one might be broken, but when I checked in the Terminal, both “remotes” seemed to be OK:

git remote show blender_dev && git remote show github_dev

Git shows all the information, including the links and the current state of each repository.

Any idea what could be wrong? I hope this isn’t something deliberate, because that would be quite limiting.

Thanks!

It should be possible to switch the remote repository in the Push dialog:

Do you have this option?

We will consider updating our documentation to include this information too. Thank you for flagging it!

Yes, it's there. I just didn't expect to click a remote name to get a list of other remote name to select from.

Thanks
