IntelliJ Idea 2021.2.1 Freezes When New Project Loads Template

When I try to load a template during making a new project IntelliJ Idea 2021.2.1 freezes up entirely, doesn't allow me to terminate the process from Task Manager and basically makes me have to hard restart my PC. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still does the same thing all over again. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Help would be greatly appreciated!

May you quit IntelliJ IDEA, clean logs folder, reproduce the issue and share the newly generated logs compressed after that?

I will if I still have problems, I'm repairing my system right now as it was having freezing issues in general
