ssh-agent on Windows 10

Answered

On windows 10, the ssh-agent listens on \\.\pipe\openssh-ssh-agent

The IntelliJ (and other Jetbrains IDEs) doesn't seem to support that, and so I constantly get prompted for passwords.

Is there a fix in the pipeline for this, as similar issues on youtrack (for DataGrip) are still open after two years?

Thanks Serge Baranov - I'd found that issue, and https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/CPP-13221 - which are both assigned to different team members (despite being the same common component), and neither has had any meaningful input from Jetbrains for over two years.

As a long-term user of Jetbrains products (from the very early betas of Resharper), I find this a little frustrating.

Thanks, the issue was reassigned and another one was closed as a duplicate.
