what do I call this jetbrains IDE feature for "previous selection shortcut panel"??
Answered
What is the correct term for what I'll call the "previous selection shortcut panel", showing in the screenshot at https://imgur.com/a/IdBYMpL?
In the screenshot, normal editor lines show up through line 74, then this "previous selection shortcut" panel covers lines after that, showing lines 162, then 172. The panel automatically docks at the top or the bottom of a given editor tab; it is outlined by a thin white line in the editor tab, as shown. (I want to turn off that panel, if I knew what to call it.)

Looks like View | Context Info (Alt+Q). Should only appear when you trigger it explicitly.
What steps do you perform to get it displayed? Can you record a video and provide the shortcuts you press to show it?
Thank you thank you! It appears that I was in some kind of sticky mode, and manipulating that View command seemed to get me out of the mode, at least on Android Studio 2020.3.1 patch 3.
