Shortcut for "Project View | Right click on file | Open in | Files"

Answered

I cannot set a shortcut for "Project View | Right click on file | Open in | Files"

There are two shortcuts "Show in files" in Gnome keymap, but both don't work.

My System: Ubuntu, Idea Community latest

Hello, for me the "Show in files" action from Settings | Keymap | Other works fine after I assign a shortcut to it. As there's no default dedicated one, I tried Ctrl+Alt+Shift+. in IDEA 2021.3.1 on Ubuntu 21.04 Gnome.

Could you please confirm it does not work for you?

If so, what shortcut has been assigned to it and what is your keyboard layout?

Thank you for your reply, but it doesn't work.  I have assigned Ctrl+Alt+Shift+x to it (I also tried  ctrl+alt+shift+z). It's also strange, that there are two entries for Show in Files (both in Other).

Does it help if you enable the "Use national layouts for shortcuts" option (shown on your screenshot) and restart the IDE?

It's also strange, that there are two entries for Show in Files (both in Other).

That's a known issue, see IDEA-85335

Thank you Ekaterina, the problem is on my side. The  "Open in file" action doesn't even work with a mouse click on the context menu (screenshot in first post). This issue can be closed.
