Reset "Restart IDE..." dialog settings

Hi,

I guess I ticked a "don't show this again" checkbox or something, because whenever I go to File -> Restart IDE, I never get the popup dialog with the various options.

Instead, the IDE restart immediately.

 

Is there a way to reset this setting?

I'm using Intellij IDEA ultimate 2021.3, Build #IU-213.5744.223, on Ubuntu.

What options are you expecting there?

It used to pop a dialog with options such as "invalidate cache", "just restart" and 1-2 more that I don't recall their texts.

Please try "File | Invalidate Caches". Seems all mentioned options are there.

Yes, seems like the entire dialog was moved there. I didn't even see this option under "File", as I was used to using "Restart IDE". Thanks!!

I would suggest changing the phrasing of both "Restart IDE..." and "Repair IDE..." and removing the ellipsis, as these menu options no longer trigger a dialog.

If it's better to open a Youtrack ticket, please let me know.
