Missing "clear" and "scroll" buttons on Java Debug/Run console

I'm running IntelliJ IDEA 2021.3.3 (Ultimate Edition) (Build #IU-213.7172.25, built on March 15, 2022). I no longer have the "print" and "clear console" buttons on my Debug/Run; here's a snapshot of what I see on my console:
My colleagues have the buttons (running the same build):
So it feels like something is amiss with my configuration. Any thoughts on what that might be?

Does it help if you restore the default layout?
Also try restoring menus and toolbars:
Default layout didn't help (I tried that prior to asking here). I did the "Restore all defaults" with no success.
Does the issue persist after File | Manage IDE Settings | Restore Default Settings...: https://i.imgur.com/kbrkC7w.png ?
