Breakpoints have check mark, but app does not suspend

I am running an enterprise app in debug mode, and before it worked fine. As of today, the app does not suspend when hitting the breakpoints. They do show with the check symbol, but app does not suspend and the debug view/tab remains empty. 

I am certain that the code where the breakpoint is set, gets executed. The "enabled" and "Suspend" options are both enabled.

Have tried doing a clean install.

Have not updated, or made any changes to the IDE.

How can i solve this issue?
