IDEA 2022.1.1 Community Edition crashing frequently

Hello All... I'm facing frequent crashes with the IntelliJ IDEA 2022.1.1 Every time I try to do maven package / run the application IDE crashes. I could see the application running in the background.

Any idea how to resolve this issue.

Hi Shiva,

See if it helps to temporarily disable all downloaded plugins: Settings/Preferences | Plugins | ⚙ | Disable all downloaded plugins

If it still crashes, please zip and attach the entire log directory (can be uploaded here).

Look for Java crash dumps (java_error_in*.log files in your user home directory), or system crash dumps (macOS: ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports, Windows: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\CrashDumps). Provide them too, if there are any.

Also make sure that IDE config directories , installation folder and project files are excluded from the antivirus/firewall scan.
