Should I use IntelliJ Idea for all programming languages or the standalones (Goland, WebStorm, PyCharm)
Answered
I work in an environment where I have to work with multiple programming languages. For now I have used the "corresponding" product from IntelliJ, so Goland for Go, Webstorm for Web, PyCharm for python and IntelliJ Idea for Java/Scala.
However I get the feeling that I am doing it "wrong". For each product I have to setup up my plugins/keymap etc. without them being synced across products. Should I just use IntelliJ Idea for all programming languages and install the appropriate plugins?
How are you working with multiple programming languages?
Thanks in advance!
