How do I inspect and clear the properties my plugin saved in `PropertiesComponent.getInstance()`?
Which xml file do I need to Edit?

Please do not ask the same question via multiple channels (issue reported via SDK Docs Feedback form), thanks.

I'm pasting the answer so that others can find it:

Application-level properties (PropertiesComponents.getInstance()) are stored in workspace.xml in Project settings folder (/.idea).
Project-level properties (PropertiesComponents.getInstance(project)) are stored in other.xml in Application settings folder (https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206544519-Directories-used-by-the-IDE-to-store-settings-caches-plugins-and-logs).
