Using third-party plugins may involve a plugin vendor processing your personal data. What?

Went to install a plugin and got:

"The following plugins aren't coming from JetBrains: Using third-party plugins may involve a plugin vendor processing your personal data. Please check the plugin vendor’s documentation for details concerning personal data processing.  JetBrains is not responsible for any processing of your personal data by any third-party plugin vendors."

What personal data? You can't make an informed decision without knowing what it has access to. Does the plugin have access to your source code and can send it back to them? Does it just get your user id? What? This seems like an overly broad warning that isn't helpful.

Not to scare you, but a plugin can technically do anything, from sending your source code outside, to running `rm -rf` on your entire drive. Just like any app downloaded from the internet, you should only install trusted plugins.
