Remote editing via SSH with elevated permissions

Hello

Within our set up we can SSH to the deployment servers, but then need to elevate permissions / switch to system user to be able to edit configs:

sudo su - systemuser

Can I do the same within IntelliJ? Without system user elevation I get "permissions denied" obviously
