Hello,the javascript debugger in WebStorm 2.1 is not compatible with Firefox 5, it work only with Firefox 3.x and 4.x. This problem will be fixed in future versions of WebStorm.

Yes. Could you please ununstall the extension from Firefox, close all Firefox instances and then start the debugger from WebStorm? It should show a dialog saying that it's going to install the exte...

JetBrains extension for Firefox is already updated for version 8, it will be available with the next WebStrom EAP build.

We was thinking about that but it isn't simple to implement. Feel free to create an issue in our tracker (http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issues/WI).

I doubt that it's possible. It seems that scripts loaded by Greasemonkey don't have URLs so you cannot put breakpoints in they.

Chrome uses a separate process for each tab so you indeed cannot debug the site as a whole. Perhaps it would be better if we automatically connect the debugger to a new opened tab but it isn't simp...

Try to select file in the tree instead of using the path field. If file is under hidden directory select "Show hidden files" option on the toolbar.
