Stephen, You could add environment variables in NodeJS Run Configuration. Just open the run configuration dialog and change attribute named "Environment variables"

Hello Calin,please check if Ruby SDK of your project contains gem "cucumber". It's important becase RubyMine gets localization info for Cucumber language from gems "cucumber" or "gherkin".
