Mark, thanks for finding that. I have no idea how that got changed but in upgrading from 2017.1 to 2017.2 it apparently got set.

So I was able to resolve this by closing the existing project and then reloading IntelliJ and sayong "Open Project..." and pointing to the pom.xml file, rather than the .iml file it had created.Int...
