Hm, am I missing something? That's how it works right now in 2026. The extra files are basically file templates that (in theory) are called when you create a new module, same as web.xml/ejb-jar.xml...

Well in that case then 'advanced' is a pretty terrible name for it, since it's not appserver advanced settings at all, but is in fact 'custom run scripts' or something similar.
