The query was just a simple SELECT * FROM table, no JOINs (as I know sometimes joins render the result read-only)

You can change it in Preferences/Settings | Editor | Code Style | SQL | General | Case. I'm not sure that's the one, it's the intellisense that's uppercase, before the update I had it configure...
