On your screencast, it looks like you use shelve/unshelve. Is that correct? If yes, this looks similar to IJPL-73203

It's a known issue IJPL-178704Due to limited support of Cinnamon (only KDE and Gnome are officially supported), this issue is not scheduled for the fix. Please upvote it to indicate its importance.
