Well it doesn't freeze on restart, only when I try to run anything, which is only a compile & run. Why would IDEA2018 need to get secure randoms on run? while IDEA 2017 doesn't? Freezes immediately...

Can't use IDEA2018 on this legacy project because of the subversion support changes IDEA-184261 Has the xslt debugger definitely been updated in this version?

Thats where I can in and it's what I'm going to have to do. Couldn't find any subversion client .zip, .tar.gz binaries for Linux no portable version either.

Link only seems to suggest rpms - I'll see it I can find some compatible portable clients. But I suspect most portable clients will be for Windows only.
