My only other idea is to temporarily edit your hosts file and point such domain to 127.0.0.1.Great minds think alike. I just thought of that as I walked away from my desk. :)

I turned Edit background off, and now when I exit I get Edit Options screen. Why am I getting that? We're not using watch or anything like that.
