is there anyway to limit the resources that intelliJ uses for indexing? While it would take longer to get code suggestions, etc. At least I could still work while it is indexing. currently I can't ...

No. Is there a task I could make the dependencies be added to the artifact? I only want them added in idea, not when I build the artifact outside of idea.

Ah, I figured it out. I needed to use the idea "PROVIDED" scope, not "COMPILE"

Hmm, I could be wrong, but I don't think I need custom IDEA scopes. I just want to add my custom gradle configuration scope to the existing IDEA compile scope. I have done this with a provided conf...
