I had this issue using a Mac. As some said above, you can change the version of the JDK used by IntelliJ. This solved the problem for me. First, install the "Choose Runtime" plugin (from JetBrains...

“Me too”.Some files have completely broken code inspection, giving false positives and missing actual errors.Rolled back to 2025.2.5, which also has a nicer splash screen ;p
