How to shutdown pre_index function?

Recently, The IDE usually down pre_index information, which let me wait for 10 minutes to end. But, in the process of development, this action will be executed many times.

Hi, do you mean that PyCharm downloads shared indexes for 10 minutes?
If so, you can call **File | Invalidate Caches...** and enable checkbox for "Ask when downloading shared indexes".
