Error Messages in the Bottom of the New UI

Hi, on the old UI I could see error messages and other notifications at the bottom of the screen (screenshot attached).
It's gone in the new UI, is there any way to enable it?

Could you please attach screenshot from new UI? Error message is shown on my side if caret is placed on error in editor.

Here's a screenshot of the same error on the new UI, without the error message presented on the buttom:
Please try to move "Navigation Bar". Open "View | Appearance | Navigation Bar" and select "Top" or "Don't Show".
That did the trick, if I move the navigation bar to the top or don't show it at all I can see the error messages.
But why can't I have both?
