ssh session crash

Hi

I use ssh session for checking out the remote environment.

Since I am using Chinese and switch to English input by shift (Phonetic input method), whenever I accidentally type a phonetic, the terminal will crash.

 I need to close that tab and reconnect again. 

Is there any way to solve this?
