Hive - enable autocommit is not supported

I think there are multiple posts talking about similar issues but none of those solutions helped resolve mine. I'm using the latest Datagrip to connect hive server and I can't refresh schema as I keep running into enable autocommit is not supported. Appreciate any help!

I got the same problem. Everything works fine but the problem above.
Hive Version: 1.2.1
Hive JDBC Version: hive-jdbc-1.2.1-standalone.jar
IDE: IntelliJ IDEA 2017.2
JRE: 1.8.0_152-release-915-b5 amd64
OS: Windows 7 6.1
The problem was fixed in version 2018.3 https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/DBE-3115
