Cannot delete the selected lines on code in MAC on intellij idea

1. When I place my cursor at the end of line, it places the cursor before semicolon. It was not the case when I was using community version.
2.I am not able to delete multiple selected lines of code. When I try to do this, delete key on my mac acts like left arrow key.

Did you install and enable IdeaVim plug-in? If so, disable it: http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/webhelp/enabling-and-disabling-plugins.html.
