The console repeats what I wrote

I've been using CLion for a couple of days, and there is a thing that is quite annoying for me.

Let's say that I have a function scanf, and user enters some data(for example a number).

So this number is highlighted in green, but in the next line there is the same number printed out.

Is there any way to set up a console to work like for instance in Linux?
