Hi ,
I am Unable to Open Intellij ideaIC-2017.1.4 in my windows 7 32 bit laptop it always is giving me now JVM Error Code -6 . I have added both JAVA_HOME and JRE_HOME in the environment variables and tried to reinstall Intellij but still no luck . It was working fine suddenly on one day it started to give the error . I tried to reinstall java , env variables , intellij but nothing worked as of now .
Please suggest about it

It looks like your idea.exe.vmoptions has too high heap size, therefore 32-bit JVM cannot start.
We recommend this Java version: https://bintray.com/jetbrains/intellij-jdk/download_file?file_path=jbsdk8u152b930.2_windows_x86.tar.gz.
Thanks. Updating the Idea config file has fixed the problem .
