I find indexing really annoying. I may not use PyCharm because of it.

Hi pm! Sorry for the inconvenience! What type of interpreters are you using? Are they remote or local? Maybe anaconda? What PyCharm version is this? Feel free to create a ticket in our bug tracker and attach your idea.log file from Help | Show Log in ... to it so we can check it for problems.
