PyCharm 2017.2 doesn't start after crashing on OSX

I am using PyCharm 2017.2.3 on OSX El Capitan 10.11.6.
After some time working on it, it stops printing the characters in the autocomplete boxes. Then when I close PyCharm, it is impossible to launch it again. I have to restart my computer. There is no error message when failing to launch.

Hi Eduardo! Could you please try to remove all settings files: https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206544519-Directories-used-by-the-IDE-to-store-settings-caches-plugins-and-logs ? It will force PyCharm to start with default ones.
