Proxy Password Problem
My problem is very similar to this excpt my IDE is CLion and this post talks about Intelli-J
The result is the same; my account keeps getting locked.
Clearing the password field disables the apply button.
Disabling the proxy and exiting the dialog leaves the proxy active and it still locks the account.
Clearing the remember password checkbox still leaves the password working.
Through some unknown combination of these parameters and perhaps restarting the environment it finally cleared the old password. Kind of... starting CLion I clicked check for CLion updates as a quick test. It told me that there was no update indicating that it went through the proxy and therefore had a password. Next I'm not sure what action triggered it, but then a dialog opened asking for my proxy password. I left the remember password checkbox blank and it remembered it anyway. I went back to the system setting - HTTP proxy and the Remember checkbox was checked.
Please create a better way of clearing the old proxy password and I don't think the Proxy Authentication works the way it should. And it looks like this effects more than just CLion.
