Does IntelliJ support Jython?

Depending on which website I go to, some say yes & some say no.

I want to learn a Java-compatible language. I don't like the verbosity of Java. I've narrowed it down to Jython or Kotlin.

Forget about Jython and go with Kotlin. It's the better language, has way better tooling, and rocks in any regard.

I prefer Kotlin over Jython because Jython doesn't support constants & is dynamically typed. But I'd still like to learn Jython.

Barnes & Noble is the only bookstore in my town & I've seen lots of books on Python. I found out that the syntax is identical in Jython & Python. So, I can get books on Python & learn Jython.

I read on the internet that PyCharm doesn't support Jython but does IntelliJ IDEA support Jython?

I have a Mac & tried Netbeans but Netbeans doesn't support Kotlin on Macs. Eclipse has a Kotlin plugin. I don't want to have 3 IDEs on my Mac - Netbeans, Eclipse & IntelliJ. I have some Java demos that I did in Netbeans, but it's a pain to import Netbeans into Eclipse. With IntelliJ, it's easy to import Netbeans into the IDE. I'd also like to learn Android. With a single IDE, IntelliJ, I can learn Kotlin, Java & Android. So, I hope that IntelliJ also supports Jython. Does it?
