How to set the watches button to be unpressed by default when running a file?

Hello, this is my first post here

Whenever I run a file Pycharm opens the variables pane in the debug window. I don't want to push the button each time I run or rerun. Is there any way to change this default setting? I reinstalled Pycharm today and I don't remember having this problem ever before.
