It is same as I do. I just download PHPStorm 2017.3.2 on my Windows 10 32bit. I just want to try but I can't, because the application doesn't run correctly. It's just do nothing, and like it's says "what are you waiting for ?"
Ya I am interested with PHPStorm because my friend recommends that this IDE were so good for developer like me. But I have to be disappointed, because PHPStorm 2017.3.2 that I downloaded can not run properly. I did not change anything about my laptop, because I just want to try this apps just for 30 days (like on web says).
So Vladimir, would you response our problem, so I can say that PHPStorm is the best IDE for developer
Sibandel, most probably it's caused by the fact that PhpStorm is trying to use the x64 JDK. How did you install it, with a standalone installer or using Toolbox?
If it's the first option, did you select to install the x86 JDK during installation (there's a checkbox for that)?
Hello,
More details are appreciated.
Did you upgrade from previous version? Was it working before? Did you change any settings like memory limits?
Hi Vladimir,
i just install new version of my windows 10 pro and I didn’t change anything. Thanks
Happy new year!

Hi there, same problem here, running on a Windows 10 VM, 32 bits, installed with x86 Java from JetBrains.
I got some logs in my home folder ==> "java_error_in_phpstorm_7256.log"

Any idea? Thank you.
It turned out to be a bug: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/JRE-514
Please download and install Oracle JDK and switch PhpStorm to using it: https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206544879-selecting-the-jdk-version-the-ide-will-run-under
Hi, I've just made this, it works now, with Oracle JDK (jdk-8u151-windows-i586.exe) thank you :-)
