CLion/IDEA updater is really slow

Hi, I recently update CLion on my laptop from 232.9921.42 to 232.10300.41. It looks to be a minor update but the updater takes more than ten minutes to validate installation, which is insane I think. Its occupies CPU of only one core but the disk usage is really slow (~2MB/s on my SSD). I wish the update process could be optimized so that it won't interrupt users' work time for too long. Thank you!

There's a known issue in YouTrack: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-228547/ . Feel free to watch the YouTrack item in order to be notified once it has updates. See [this article](https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/articles/207241135) if you are not familiar with YouTrack.

Also, you can try to manage the IDE installations by JetBrains Toolbox(https://www.jetbrains.com/toolbox-app/). It's easy to use for installing/updating multiple versions of the IDE.
