Editor Window splitted into three section after PyCharm upgrade to 2024.1
Anyone facing an issue after upgrading the PyCharm to 2024.1, as the editor window is divided into three sections. Attaching the screenshot. If anyone knows the solutions, please advise.

I am having the exact same problem after 2024.1 upgrade
I have resolved this by removing the Material UI plugin.
I had this issue. Resetting the theme wasn't enough to fix it, i had to go to plugins and disable the material theme.
It looks like this is a Feature not a bug. Apparently some people with serious issues requested this??

You can turn it off by turning off the “centered editor” in Settings → appearance and behavior → material theme ui → features → centered editor.
Thank you so much Ben! I figured this was a setting that they had enabled by default; I just couldn't find the toggle to turn it off.
